With a SKILCRAFT Services contract, you are able to utilize a workforce of talented and competent employees, who time after time, are recognized for providing outstanding quality and excellence service. Today, NIB and associated agencies perform a large variety of services. SKILCRAFT Services provides a wide range of services through contracts with the Federal Government. NIB and associated agencies place employees in positions to meet your needs – including skill levels from entry-level to the highly-specialized. From database management to call center operations, facilities management and other customized services; people who are blind are employed by federal agencies such as GSA, USDA, DLA, DSCP, Army, Navy, Air Force, Department of Justice, Department of Veterans Affairs and the Surgeon General’s Office. Known as the “Cuban Lottery,” more than 700,000 applications for the Special Cuban Migration Program were processed under a JWOD contract with the Department of Justice in less than a year. People who are blind are the first in line to answer over 200,000 phone inquiries a year at the GSA Customer Service/Order Processing location in PA. JWOD contract employees pick up outgoing mail, sort and deliver incoming mail, and send and receive packages via express mail and courier services at the Department of State and for the embassies. Almost a quarter of a million orders are processed annually by people who are blind, providing storage; packaging and shipping for lighting supplies, tape, webbing, insignia, military uniforms and accessories to Department of Defense military units worldwide.
