This year’s Forum is being held Tuesday, March 6 through Thursday, March 8, 2007, at the Westin Arlington Gateway Hotel, located in Arlington, VA.  On Tuesday, a welcome reception and dinner presentation featuring political analyst Charlie Cook will set the stage for the busy and informative days ahead.  Wednesday’s activities will include a morning session, which prepares attendees to maximize the time they will spend on Capitol Hill advocating for issues critical to the Javits-Wagner-O’Day (JWOD) Program.  The Hill meetings will start Wednesday afternoon with special guest speakers and run through Thursday when our agencies will meet with legislators one-on-one.  The event will present invaluable opportunities to meet directly with members of Congress and their staffs.

Advance registration is now closed.  If you would like to attend the conference and have not yet registered, please register on-site beginning Tuesday, March 6, 2007.

NIB/NAEPB BSC Vendor Fair
Houston, TX

This year’s BSC Vendor Fair is being held April 10-11, 2007, at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, located in Woodlands, TX, just outside of Houston.

Reservations at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel are now being accepted.  The Woodlands Waterway Marriot has limited availability at the group rate of $139/night on Monday and Tuesday, April 9 and 10.  The hotel is sold out at the group rate on Wednesday, April 11. The event ends at 2pm on Wednesday and many attendees may prefer to travel home Wednesday evening. If you require a hotel room on Wednesday night, please contact Camille Veneziano at cveneziano@nib.org and she will provide you with a current list of alternate hotel properties. Please call (800) 262-1509 to make your reservation at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and reference the “NIB/NAEPB BSC Vendor Fair” to receive this discounted rate. Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis.

Advance registration is being accepted through Friday, March 30, 2007.  Please use the “Register On-line” link below to access the event registration website where you will be able to use a credit card to pay for the conference fees.  To pay by check, you may use the “Registration Via Mail” link to print a registration form and send it to NIB, Attn: Camille Veneziano, Conference and Meetings Coordinator, 1310 Braddock Place, Alexandria, VA 22314.   Please make the check payable to NIB and enclose the check with your registration form.

Exhibitors
To select booth space, please click on the “Floor Plan” link provided below.  Review the floor plan and note your top three booth preferences.  Then go to the “Registration and Booth Selection” link and list your preferences when asked to do so.   Both space will be assigned on a first come, first served basis.  The fee to exhibit at the BSC Vendor Fair is $685.  A reduced fee of $175 is available to NIB and NISH associated agencies.  These fees entitle exhibitors to a 10x10 booth space, one six-foot skirted table, two chairs, and event registration for two delegates.

Important note:  If you have made your hotel reservation at the Woodlands Waterway Marriott, please also be sure to register for the Vendor Fair using the link below.
